Hello,
Today my topic is about environment and how green I am.
To start, I think family and school are the most important places to learn about how to take care properly of environment and the earth.

Normal Sydney´s recycling bins
Sadly, I have to say that I used to do a lot of recycling. When I lived abroad I learnt a lot about recycling. I always used different bins for rubbish and separated everything before throwing it away.
It was very normal and easy to get the habit because everyone did it. However, when I came back home it was almost impossible to keep doing it, because here were not the conditions to do a proper recycling. I was so sad when I tried to separate my rubbish without realizing that it was useless as at home we just have one bin for all the rubbish.
Normally, I take the bus or use car so in this way I´m not green at all. I guess it is because Santiago is not a city for cyclist.
I used to support Greenpeace. I am not a current member, though. To be honest I have no a good reason for not being a member.
In the near future I´d would like to be an active member or Greenpeace or at least support them with money. They do a great duty and it is important not to let them alone.
I think recycling is a huge problem in Chile, particularly in Santiago. We have to change our mind and it is also a government task to resolve our current contamination issues which are not few. At the end to have a cleaner planet is everyone´s job!

See you nex time!

Hello
Today,  the post instructions are different so I am going to write in a different way. I´ve been asked to choose a piece of news from a Bristish newspaper called "The Guardian". I chose a very interisting piece of news. It´s about a case of discrimination. Especifically discrimination for being gay. To introduce you I´ll explain what happened first and then say what are mi beliefs and what I think about it. Ok then, two years ago a gay couple of mature men were refused to stay in a B&B because the owner argued that it was again her beliefs that a same-sex couple spend the night in the same room (and obvisly the same bed). These two men brought the case to a civil court. Finally, they won the case and the woman was told to pay £3600 in order to compensate the damages of her actions.
The couple was refused to stay just because they were gay.
I think this is a very interesting topic because discrimination is still a problem in every society. In this case the woman refused to give acommodation to the gay couple because it was again her chrsitians beliefs. Here we have a big problem, the religous views versus the civil rights. What I think is that despite the fact that I believe that discrimination is unaceppted if someone thinks diferent because of any reason, he or she has to keep that thought for themselves, I mean if you are going to run a bussines you just can´t be discrminator. I strongly believe that in order to have a better society we have to be more tolerant and comprenssive.

Post 3

Hello, today my topic is about a trip that I have made.
Luckily I´ve been able to visit several amazing places in different countries. However, I´m going to choose not the most beautiful place or the most relaxing holydays. Instead, I will write about a trip with friends to the beach. It wasn´t anything extraordinary, it was in winter holydays. I went with 5 friends to a house close to the beach. As it was in winter we didn´t swim in the sea and as it was cold we stayed most of the time at home. I think that was the awesome of this trip. We just drank and played play station for 3 days. That was wonderful! and after this 3 unforgettable days I had to go to other house with other school friends to do pretty much the same, the only the change was the play station for the poker. I didn´t mind, though. So I had one fantastic week in different places with diferent friends doing the same fantastic things. As I said it wasn´t a stunnig trip but without any doubt it was a meagninful trip that I won´t be able to forget soon. :)

all the best,
Hubert

Post 2

Hi everyone, today I'm going to talk about the countries which I would like to go to. There are many countries which I'd love to visit. I think my favourite ones are Italy, france Korea and especially Thailand so I will choose this country to write about. Thiland is in Asia, its food is very famous, and it's got a fantastic combitation between nice beaches and exotices places. I'd like to visit Bangkok the capital city, go to the beach and do some tours around some famous temples. There they speak thai so I won't be able to comunicate well, that's the reason because I just want to go there for a couple of weeks. To finish I have to say something, this summer I'm going to Thailand so you can imagine how excited I am. I'm really looking forward to it!

See you next time!

Firt post...

Hi there! this is the fist time that I'm going to have a blog, so it is a totally new experience!
I feel blogging will be fun and of course very useful in order to improve my englih. Writting has always been one of my weekness in Enlglish so having the chance to write often will help me a lot for sure. I think one very challenging thing will be keeping right  my grammar. As I have lived in an English speaking country I know a vast number of words and different ways to use them. I keep making mistakes, though.
I'm very sure that the best way to improve my English wrtting (especially my grammar!) is practising regularly and focus on my mistakes.
I'd like to write about everything! things such as sport, countries and international news are my favorite topics so I'll definetely glad to write about them. Well I won't keep you long. It's time to go and thak you for reading! :)

Cheers, Hubert
