Hello
Today, the post instructions are different so I am going to write in a different way. I´ve been asked to choose a piece of news from a Bristish newspaper called "The Guardian". I chose a very interisting piece of news. It´s about a case of discrimination. Especifically discrimination for being gay. To introduce you I´ll explain what happened first and then say what are mi beliefs and what I think about it. Ok then, two years ago a gay couple of mature men were refused to stay in a B&B because the owner argued that it was again her beliefs that a same-sex couple spend the night in the same room (and obvisly the same bed). These two men brought the case to a civil court. Finally, they won the case and the woman was told to pay £3600 in order to compensate the damages of her actions.

I think this is a very interesting topic because discrimination is still a problem in every society. In this case the woman refused to give acommodation to the gay couple because it was again her chrsitians beliefs. Here we have a big problem, the religous views versus the civil rights. What I think is that despite the fact that I believe that discrimination is unaceppted if someone thinks diferent because of any reason, he or she has to keep that thought for themselves, I mean if you are going to run a bussines you just can´t be discrminator. I strongly believe that in order to have a better society we have to be more tolerant and comprenssive.
